The Adria House is a well established, family-run and now FULLY NO-SMOKING guest house, centrally situated and just 15 minutes walk from the main bus and train stations of St. Andrews and Waverley. The Adria offers charming, comfortable accommodation and good value for its central location. It is within easy walking distance of many of Edinburghs principal cultural, historical and retail landmarks. Built in the 1820s, the Adria House gives the discerning guest the opportunity to live in a property forming part of the citys New Town which visitors from around the world come to admire.The Playhouse Theatre, Scotlands home to the West End Musicals, is just around the corner as is the Omni leisure and entertainment centre with its 12 screen Vue Cinema complex and Jongleurs Comedy Club. ADRIA HOUSE - Directions:
Edinburgh Waverley Train Station is about 0.5 miles from the Adria House and a taxi would take only 5 minutes and cost around £ 5.00 for a oneway journey. Alternatively you could walk which would take 15 minutes.When walking, make your way to exit 4 (Calton Road). After coming up then down some steps cross the road turning left to go under a high, arched bridge. Pass John Lewis department store, a roundabout, the Omni leisure and 12 screen Vue Cinema complex (a glass building) and the Playhouse Theatre on your right-hand side. At the 2nd roundabout turn right onto Blenheim Place and walk up towards Greenside Church at the top of the hill and onto Royal Terrace.
