It contains the tomb of Sir George McKenzie, whose ghost is now said to haunt the graveyard. The statue of GreyFriars Bobby (the loyal dog who waited by his master's grave for 13 years) is outside the gate, but his headstone is at the entrance to the the graveyard. His master's grave is 30m north of the entrance, now with a modern headstone, since it was originally unmarked. MORE... |
